Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of MakeClipAI's AI video generation platform. By using our services, you agree to comply with this policy. Violations may result in account suspension or termination.

Permitted Use

MakeClipAI is designed for creating AI-generated videos for legitimate purposes, including but not limited to:

Marketing and promotional content
Social media content creation
Educational and informational videos
Creative and artistic projects
Product demonstrations and presentations

Prohibited Content

You may not use MakeClipAI to generate, attempt to generate, or distribute:

NSFW/Explicit Content: Pornographic, sexually explicit, or obscene material
Deepfakes of Real People: Realistic depictions of identifiable individuals without their consent, including public figures
Impersonation & False Endorsement: Content that falsely implies a real person, company, or brand approved, created, or endorsed the output
Violence & Gore: Graphic violence, torture, or content glorifying harm
Hate Speech: Content promoting discrimination, hatred, or violence against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
Illegal Content: Material that violates any applicable law or regulation, including child exploitation material (zero tolerance)
Fraud & Deception: Content intended to deceive, defraud, or mislead others, including fake news or disinformation
Harassment: Content intended to bully, intimidate, or harass any individual
Intellectual Property Violations: Content that infringes on copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights
Unauthorized Brand/Character Use: Attempts to generate misleading content using protected brands, logos, characters, or proprietary assets without rights
Spam: Mass-generated low-quality content intended for SEO manipulation or spam distribution

Content Safety & Moderation

MakeClipAI operates its own multi-layer content safety system, independent of any third-party AI provider's built-in filters. Even if an upstream model lacks native safety controls, our platform enforces the following safeguards:

Platform-Level Prompt Screening: Before any generation request reaches an AI provider, MakeClipAI's own moderation layer screens prompts against a maintained blocklist of prohibited terms, patterns, and intent signals. Prompts that match prohibited content categories are rejected before generation begins.
AI Provider Safety Filters: Generation requests are additionally processed through our AI providers (including fal.ai and kie.ai), which apply their own content safety filters at the model level. These provider-level filters supplement — but do not replace — our platform-level controls.
Output Review: Generated content may be subject to automated and manual review to ensure compliance with this policy. Content flagged during review may be removed and the generating account actioned.
User Reporting: Users can report content that violates this policy by contacting support@makeclipai.com. Reports are reviewed and acted upon within 48 hours.
Showcase Moderation: Content submitted for public showcase is held for review before publication and can be removed at any time if policy or legal risks are identified.
Ongoing Monitoring: We continuously monitor generation patterns and outputs for policy violations, and update our moderation rules as new risks emerge.

Account Consequences

Violations of this policy may result in:

First Violation: Warning and content removal
Repeated Violations: Temporary account suspension
Severe Violations: Immediate and permanent account termination without refund
Illegal Content: Immediate termination and reporting to relevant authorities

Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for all content generated through your account
You must not share your account credentials with others
You must comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction
You must respect the intellectual property rights of others
You must not submit prompts or assets that you do not have rights to use

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Continued use of MakeClipAI after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
